Summer Links

Hello Friends!

It’s true, there has not been a lot of blogging happening recently. But, there has been a lot of life happening. And a lot of guitar-playing happening.

Until I gather my thoughts into something life-changing, or until Varun busts out another hilarious cultural snafu, here is the Best of The Internet…

Thanks, Kate, for keeping it real. (And thanks, Jessica Wakefield, for helping an entire generation embrace self-loathing.)

If this doesn’t blow your mind, nothing will.

Adoptive Mama’s and Papa’s, and anyone else who’s interested, here’s an awesome resource.

Recently, we’ve been munching on this and these. Healthy, tasty and no oven required.

My brother Luke just finished making a series of short documentary-style films on American artisans. Epically awesome. (Message me for the password)

I’m currently reading Dad is Fat by Jim Gaffigan. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed until I cried while reading a book that mentions the word placenta. (That’s meant to be high praise…)

And then there’s this Amazon-package thief…

Oh my goodness, the last one cracks me up! Jared was just telling me about that a couple of days ago but I never actually saw it, too funny.

Thoughts? I love hearing from you!
